Do you think Electrolyte Drinks are just for sports? Think again …
They have so many uses – they’re perfect after and during physical exertion, during colds, flu, food poisoning + even for women during labor.
This Homemade Tropical Electrolyte Drink makes me think of my labor and birthing experience with Tiny Love. I sipped on these tropical flavors throughout my labor and after her birth.
I love these flavors, especially the hibiscus flavor. It’s a really lovely flavor when paired with citrus.
Have you ever made your own electrolyte drink before?
It’s truly so easy to make. All you need is a few simple ingredients. There’s no need to buy those store-bought versions that are full of sugars and food coloring. There’s really nothing healthy about those drinks. Yes, they work for restoring electrolytes, but at what cost?
Using natural Celtic sea salt is a much better alternative when it comes to hydrating, replenishing and restoring. Used with raw honey, hibiscus and some fresh citrus juice, you’ll have a healthy, nourishing electrolyte drink.
I’m super excited to be sharing this Tropical Electrolyte Drink recipe over at Hybrid Rasta Mama today!
