Pumpkin + Chocolate are so delicious together!
Now that the weather is starting to feel like fall, I’ve been getting sugar pie pumpkins to roast and make homemade pumpkin puree. I like to make up a bunch and store the puree in the freezer for spiced pumpkin smoothies, spiced pumpkin chai tea, pumpkin pancakes and for special fall inspired treats.
Recently I decided to put some pumpkin puree in my homemade honey sweetened hot chocolate and loved how it tasted! Because I loved the flavor of the pumpkin and chocolate, I thought it would be fun make a pumpkin + chocolate treat.
So I whipped up some real food Pumpkin Chocolate Butter Cups! They were so fun to make + my family enjoyed them … and that makes me happy. I love making special food that they all enjoy.
These little delicious bites would make a perfect addition to the Thanksgiving holiday dessert table.
