Holiday Season Essential Oil Diffuser Recipes – fill your home with the scents of fall and winter naturally with these amazing, uplifting diffuser recipes.

Essential oils diffuser, essential oils, cinnamon sticks, cloves, herbs and fresh lemons. this RECIPE

Enjoy the holiday season with your essential oil diffuser!

If you don’t have an essential oil diffuser in your home yet, get to it. They are AMAZING for the home for so many reasons.

Air fresheners, wall plug-ins and scented candles are no good. I used those over 15 years ago, but stopped using them when I found out how dangerous they are. They are full of toxic chemicals!

There is a much better way friends! Diffusing essential oils in your home is a safer, non-toxic way to enjoy amazing scents in your home {plus some cool benefits too – like uplifting the mood, supporting the immune system, helping with motivation and focus, etc.}.

Essential oils diffuser with essential oils, cinnamon sticks, cloves, herbs and fresh lemons.

Essential Oils and Diffusers

Diffusing essential oils makes your home smell AMAZING, but that’s not the only thing it does. When you use therapeutic-grade essential oils, you can reap some pretty awesome benefits too.

I have four different diffusers that I use daily in my home {I actually had five diffusers, but I gave one to my daughter’s teacher to use in their classroom daily}. Four diffusers might seem like a lot, but if you already use a diffuser, you know how amazing they are. I use one in our bathroom/master bedroom, one in our main living area, one in my daughter’s bedroom and one in our kitchen.

I keep my TheraPro Premium Diffuser {newer model is available through Young Living} in my main living area or in the bathroom/master bedroom. It’s an atomizing diffuser, one of the most advanced diffusers. Atomizing or nebulizing diffusers help provide therapeutic healing benefits of essential oils by creating a super fine mist in the air. They do not use water to diffuse, they just emit airborne particles of essential oils.

Young Living Home Diffuser

I use my Home Diffuser {available through Young Living} in my daughter’s bedroom. I gifted my second home diffuser to my daughter’s teacher for his classroom. She loves having it in her room and her school classroom. She loves to diffuse citrus blends and calming blends in her bedroom. The citrus blends have been helpful for uplifting the mood in mornings and the calming blends have been helpful at bedtime.

She also loves to come home from school and tell me which essential oils her teacher decided to diffuse that day. This diffuser is easy to move around the house if needed. Sometimes we bring it outside to diffuse when we’re hanging out in our backyard and there’s lots of mosquitos flying around.

Essential oil diffuser with essential oils, cinnamon sticks, cloves, herbs and fresh lemons.

I also use and love my Dewdrop Diffuser {pictured above, available through Young Living} daily. I use this diffuser in my kitchen/dining/family room area. This one is always on in the mornings to help boost, wake up and uplift moods. My girls love picking out citrus oils for this in the morning. I also have it running during the day when I’m working or cooking.

Young Living Travel Fan Diffuser

I also have a Travel Fan diffuser {available through Young Living} that I use in both my car and my husband’s car. It’s awesome because it’s portable, small, and you can travel with it.

When choosing a diffuser, make sure to look for nebulizing/atomizing or cold-air diffusers, since anything that heats the oils can potentially decrease the beneficial properties of the essential oils. There are some great ones available online. This InnoGear Portable Cool Mist diffuser and this Spa Vapor diffuser are some of the most affordable ones on Amazon that I could find.

I love and ONLY use Young Living therapeutic-grade essential oils for my family, here’s why.  Essential oil diffuser with essential oils, cinnamon sticks, cloves, herbs and fresh lemons.

Holiday Season Essential Oil Diffuser Recipes

Enjoy your diffuser and fill you home with the cozy, warming, and inviting scents of fall and the holiday season!

EO = Essential Oil

These recipes are meant to be used in a cold-air diffuser. Most cold-air diffusers require water as well. I use about 3-12 drops {single drops total} of essential oils per use in this type of diffuser. If you’re using an atomizing diffuser like I do, you can make up a blend in a clean bottle to diffuse {it’s super easy, just use the ratios of essential oils}. If you don’t have all of the essential oils, use what you have. The possibilities are endless. The essential oils I am referring to in these recipes are exclusively Young Living.

โ€ขโ€ขโ€ข
My twins birth story is hard. ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’™ Itโ€™s my story. Itโ€™s my reality. And itโ€™s NOT open for judgement. Losing a child is hard enough, so please keep the comments kind.
โ€ขโ€ขโ€ข
My birth story was life changing - full of massive amounts of pain, and also happiness. Bittersweet, maybe that word fits? It doesnโ€™t seem to fully encompass my experience and my life now. But I guess bittersweet will always be my reality. Because every moment without my son Ronan, is bittersweet - I have one amazing, beautiful son right here with me, who brings me SO MUCH HAPPINESS and his brother isnโ€™t here. ๐Ÿ‘ผ๐Ÿฝ
โ€ขโ€ขโ€ข
So many of you were touched by Ronanโ€™s life. ๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿ’ž So many prayed for him or sent loving wishes. Ronan fought so hard.

If youโ€™ve been wanting to know the details of my twin home birth with an emergency cesarean, Iโ€™m ready to share. Itโ€™s long, raw and full of photos of my home birth, photos from the NICU and photos from Ronanโ€™s last day.

๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ˜ž Itโ€™s hard to find the words to describe ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ˜ž Itโ€™s hard to find the words to describe what Iโ€™m going through. Happiness for my beautiful, thriving, first son and complete heartache, sadness and loss for my second son. We have to let our second son go today. ๐Ÿ‘ผ๐ŸฝThe pain is excruciating. No mom should ever have to go through this. No parents should ever have to go through what my husband and I have gone through over the last 8 days. I feel like Iโ€™m living in a nightmare at times. Other times Iโ€™m grateful beyond belief to be alive and have made it through my emergency cesarean, to have lived to hold my first son again in my arms after hours apart after he had been born safely surrounded by love in the water. Grateful to have finally been able to hold my second son in the NICU several days after his extremely traumatic birth.
โ€ข
I have been providing the bulk of the financial support for my family via my real food blog and cookbooks. My husband took time off of work to help complete 3 more cookbooks with me during my pregnancy, two of which he co-authored, and care for me as I was on bedrest towards the end of my pregnancy. With this horrific recent event, I will not be returning to work for many months to come. This (along with new medical bills) places a huge financial burden on my family.
โ€ข
If you are able to help contribute financially, our needs are great, both physically and emotionally, with a large financial burden.

An online fundraiser was created by my dear friend @thehybridrastamama (which youโ€™re welcome to share online!) All funds go directly to my family via Paypal. The fundraiser can be found here:ย http://fnd.us/a1TmC8?ref=sh_27y9V1

Pregnancy and childbirth.๐Ÿคฐ๐Ÿ’– We deserve THE B Pregnancy and childbirth.๐Ÿคฐ๐Ÿ’– We deserve THE BEST possible prenatal and postpartum care. Ladies, if you have a provider who is only placing fears on you, itโ€™s okay to find a different provider! There are other options! Because placing fears on a pregnant mama is not cool at all.
โ€ขโ€ขโ€ข
๐ŸคฐPregnancy is sacred and no one - not even doctors, the medical model or people who think they mean well, should ever place fear on you while youโ€™re pregnant. Iโ€™ve had my fair share of fear based comments placed on me by people during each of my pregnancies as well as an ultrasound doctor (who is not my provider) this time around try to put a ton of fear on me. ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™€๏ธโŒ Those opinions are not welcome.
โ€ขโ€ขโ€ข
We donโ€™t need labels slapped on us, we donโ€™t need to be put in a box, we donโ€™t need anything fear based - we need positive talk, compassionate and loving care and reminders of the things we are doing well. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป Anything negative or fear based from doctors and people who share their opinions and place their fear on us leads us pregnant moms to start questioning our bodies and be fearful of what could happen. This is not okay! We deserve better!
โ€ขโ€ขโ€ข
Mamas ... we are strong ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ, working hard and we are normal - we need these reminders as we grow a little human being, or in my case twins!! ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’™ Know that YOU ARE AMAZING! Trust your body. Trust you. Youโ€™ve got this!โœจ
โ€ขโ€ขโ€ข
And remember - find yourself a provider that gives you THE BEST quality care! You deserve this! Midwifery care, doulas, home birth and even compassionate, natural minded OBโ€™s are wonderful options. This loving model of care existed way before the current modern maternity care - and this is the kind of care that pregnant moms deserve during pregnancy and childbirth. Do what is best for you and know you deserve love and respect during this beautiful time.
