Chocolate + Gummies … yes please!
I’ve been trying to come up with some new real food ideas to pack some protein into snacks and lunches for my Little Love. She’s my challenging one when it comes to food, so I have to really get creative. Chocolate Gummies are apparently the way to go! This “treat” is something I can feel good about serving to my girls any time of the day.
I’ve been packing these in school lunches, offering them after school as a snack + I’ve been enjoying them too. They’re great when you’re on-the-go and have to run out the door and haven’t eaten anything yet. Am I the only one who does this? By the time I take care of everyone else, there is little time left so I just pop a few of these in my mouth and run out the door. It’s enough to help curb my hunger until I can get home and make a proper meal.
These Chocolate Gummies are so delicious! My whole family loves them, even my husband who isn’t a huge chocolate fan. Little Love says they taste like a combination of honey sweetened hot chocolate and homemade marshmallows.
And who doesn’t love that flavor combo? Well maybe some people don’t, but I sure do! Most kids and adults love hot chocolate and I’ve never met anyone who didn’t have a fond childhood memory of marshmallows. Such classic + nostalgic foods.
Have you ever made homemade gummies before? They are so easy to make! And such a fun food for both kids and adults to enjoy.
Skip the store-bought ones and try making your own gummies and fruit snacks instead!
