This healthy Pineapple Whip is so easy to make and crazy good! Super creamy and refreshing, this mouthwatering frozen treat has 3 ingredients, no refined sweeteners and whips up in minutes.
There's nothing like a frozen pineapple whip!
This heavenly treat is simply one of the best treats ever. If you love pineapple and frozen treats like ice cream, slushies and milkshakes, then you are going to LOVE pineapple whips.
There's just something about pineapple that makes me feel happy. It's one of those cheery, bright, vibrant foods. Lately it's been the only thing that I can taste and that sounds good to me.
I've had two sick kiddos at home for weeks now, my Little Love got it first, then my Tiny Love. I supported my immune system like crazy while they were sick, but night after night of very little sleep due to holding a sick little one who kept coughing in my face ... it was only a matter of time before I got the cold too.
Healthy pineapple whip to the rescue for this mommy!
Pineapple is full of vitamin C and known to help support the immune system.
Maybe that's why I've been craving pineapple? I have no idea. All I know is that I love Pineapple Whips. They taste amazing, they're so refreshing, and they never grow old.
It's so easy to make a healthy Pineapple Whip (Copycat Dole Whip) in minutes!
All you need are 3 simple whole food ingredients and a blender {preferably a high-powered blender}.
Frozen pineapple, coconut milk and a little bit of lime juice, that's it! The lime juice can be optional, but I highly recommend it.
My family loves it as is this way, but if you'd like it a little sweeter you can add some raw, light-colored honey, a drop of stevia or some maple syrup. Out of the three sweeteners, I find that raw honey tastes the best.
Add everything to the blender, then blend it up. That's it!
Healthy pineapple whips are meant to be savored and enjoyed for a snack or a special treat.
Eat it by the spoonful, slurp it through a straw, whatever you do make sure to enjoy each and every delectable bite. This stuff is so good and seriously addicting. You're going to want to make this often.
This Healthy Pineapple Whip is packed with real food goodness. It's Paleo, dairy free and absolutely delicious!
Next time you want a refreshing snack or treat, make pineapple whip and double the batch. Trust me, you're going to want more.
Healthy Pineapple Whip
Healthy Pineapple Whip {Paleo}
This Healthy Pineapple Whip is so easy to make and crazy good! Super creamy and refreshing, this mouthwatering frozen treat has 3 ingredients, no refined sweeteners and whips up in minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 fresh pineapple, cut into chunks and frozen (about 6 ½ cups)
- ½ to 1 cup cold organic coconut milk
- Juice of ½ organic lime
- 1-2 tablespoons raw, light-colored honey - optional
Instructions
- Remove the frozen pineapple from the freezer and allow it to sit at room temperature for about 3 minutes.
- In a high-powered blender, add the frozen pineapple, ½ cup cold coconut milk, lime juice and optional honey. Begin to pulse the blender, only adding a little extra coconut milk if needed to blend, scraping down the sides as necessary. The pineapple whip should be smooth and blended into a "soft-serve" consistency. Only add extra coconut milk as needed so you don't end up with a thinner consistency.
- Enjoy immediately!
Notes
- Advance preparation required - fresh pineapple must be frozen first.
- You can also use maple syrup or a drop of stevia to sweeten this if you'd like.

Hi Janine! ❤️ I didn't test this out with any other milk. I'm sure using an alternative would work, it will just change the flavor.

Pineapples are also one of the few foods that contain bromine - which is also very good for you. I love this flavor combination. I'm pinning this for later.
Emily Sunwell-Vidaurri
Yes! That's so true! 🙂 Thanks for the pin Alicia!
Jennifer at Because Food Is Love
Alicia, besides being delicious, one of the reasons I like to incorporate pineapple in my family's diet is because of bromelain too. I've found eating the pineapple core isn't the most pleasant thing so I usually just put it in a smoothie. I love your dessert idea Emily. It's a great way to eat the pineapple core. I love that you only used three ingredients. Plus, you kinda had me at lime and pineapple. I love that combo! I bet my kids would love this too, especially now that it's heating up outside.
Emily Sunwell-Vidaurri
Thanks Jennifer! 🙂 Hope you get to enjoy some.

Does this use canned coconut milk?
Emily Sunwell-Vidaurri
You can use whatever coconut milk you like 🙂 If using canned cococonut milk, I recommend looking for one that does not use BPA in the lining.
Lindsey
Hi! The recipe looks amazing! Is the coconut milk from a can ?
Emily Vidaurri
Hi Lindsey, yes - I link to the brand I used in the recipe card. ? You'll want to look for a full-fat coconut milk.
